Remove unnecessary personal information
Photos, date of birth, nationality, and marital status are normally absent from English-language resumes. Keep the contact details an employer genuinely needs.
Lead achievements with action verbs
Led, built, increased, reduced, and delivered give the sentence direction immediately. Follow the verb with specific scope, context, or a measurable result.
Explain the level instead of inventing an equivalent
Keep the official institution and qualification name. Add a short, accurate level explanation in parentheses when the original award will be unfamiliar to the target employer.
Choose one English convention and stay consistent
British and American English can both work, but spelling, dates, punctuation, and vocabulary should remain consistent throughout the document and match the hiring market where possible.
